01 · The story
Born in Gurugram, built for the world
Okugu Tech opened its doors in 2024 with a small team and an unfashionable belief: that travel, an industry moving two billion people a year, deserves software as considered as the journeys it sells. We had watched brilliant travel brands run on brittle systems, reissue desks working through the night, and travelers paying for that friction without ever seeing it.
So we started with the plumbing. A booking engine that treats supplier chaos as a solved problem. An itinerary system that tells everyone the truth at the same moment. APIs that engineers describe, in their words, as boring in the best possible way.
Two years later we operate from three continents, clear millions of bookings a year, and remain deliberately small: senior people, short meetings, long attention spans.
The best travel technology is the kind no one ever has to think about.

We hire fewer, better people and give them room. Every partner gets an engineer who knows their name, not a ticket number.
03 · How we work
Weeks, not quarters
Every engagement begins with a scoping call and ends with your first live booking, usually within weeks. In between: sandbox keys on day one, paired engineering, and honest answers about what our platform does and does not do. We would rather lose a deal than oversell a feature.
